Introduction:

Venturing beyond the realms of mere relationships and conventional gatherings,Connections 2024 dawned upon the vibrant city of coimbatore with unparalleled zeal and purpose.Hosted at the esteemed YMCA,Town Hall,Coimbatore,nestled in the heart of Tamil Nadu,India,this event unfolded amidst the backdrop of coimbatore’s tropical climate,characterized by its hot and humid weather,accentuated by occasional monsoon showers that grace the city from july onwards.Despite the challenging weather conditions,the event persevered,reflecting the resilience and determination of its organizers and attendees.

Engagement and participation:

Friends and families,inspired by their engagement in the mission activities of CMCT(Christian Missions Charitable Trust),spearheaded the endeavor to expand their network of influence within coimbatore.The vision casting Fellowship Meet heralded a new chapter in the annals of CMCT’s history,as it brought together individuals from various walks of life,including educators,entrepreneurs,banking professionals,miltary personnel,clergy,legal experts,and media personalities.with an anticipated guest count exceeding 60,despite intermittent showers,the turnout was commendable,showcasing the widespread interest and support for the cause.

Event Highlights:

Prior to the commencement of the vision Casting Fellowship Meet scheduled for 6.30pm on May 11th,2024,a melodious rendition set the tone for the evening, soothing the souls of attendees. The event commenced punctually with a heartfelt prayer led by Mrs.Nirmala Sekhar,the President of YWCA,Coimbatore,followed by a warm welcome address by

Lieutenant Sumathi Dorai,who shared personal anecdotes illustrating the profound impact of CMCT on her life.

CEO Mr.Mani Majul Philip provided a comprehensive overview of CMCT’s journey,tracing its inception and evolution since its registration in Coimbatore.A video presentation showcased the organization’s mission activities,underscoring its commitment to serving the community.Mr.J S Anbu then challenged attendees to unite in their efforts to connect hearts and extend a helping hand for this noble cause,drawing upon his personal involvement with CMCT.

The event featured congregational hymns led by Mr.Aaron Moses,Director of Programmes,and Mr.Moses further elucidated the pressing needs in education and healthcare sectors,outlining associated costs in Indian Rupees(INR).Attendees were galvanized to explore various avenues for collabration and support in addressing these needs within Coimbatore.

Conclusion and Reflections:

As the curtains drew on Connections 2024,Mr.Ezekial,the Administration Director,offered concluding remarks,emphasizing the significance of collective action and community engagement in driving positive change.A fellowship dinner provided attendees with an opportunity for conviviality and meaningful dialogue,fostering lasting friendships and inspiring disscussions.We had 42 new guests attended the Connections 2024 VCFM and were challenged to network,partner and carry the vision.
