Child Development Project At Pulicat

This report details activities carried out at the inauguration of the 7th child Development Project at Pullicat on the 20th February 2024.

The project was carried out in collaboration with Madras Christian College.As part of the collaboration we have been provided with a place in their community college at Pullicat in order to run our project.The inauguration was graced with the presence of friends from overseas namely Mr.lan McCorkell, Mr.Jim Dobson and Mr.Martin Agnew together with management and staff of CMCT.

As always the project began with prayer and was formally opened by Mr.Jim Dobson who cut the ribbon,a welcome address was given by Mr.David Prabhakaran,Program manager.

An explanation of the project was given by Mr.Aaron Moses,Program Director and a message was given by Mr.Mani Philip CEO.He encouraged the children and parents to actively participate in the project as it is aimed at not only teaching academics but other life skills which would lift their life goals.

The special guest was Dr.J.Joshua Jayaseelan,Convener of Madras Community college,Mr.Richard L delivered a vote of thanks to all participants and the program was closed with prayer by Mr.Martin Agnew.A total of 45 children and 10 parents were present and all the children were given stationary kits from the dignitaries and were also given a tree sapling.

We give God thanks for the enabling to commence our 7th child development project,to increase our support of these needy children and to teach them of the love of God for theme.
