Testimony of Padmavathy

praise be to God.My name is Padmavathy and I am sharing about the goodness that god has bestowed upon my life.I was born in a small village called Dharapuram which is located in Tirupur District.Farming was our main occupation.I used to travel 8 km to school every day.Later I stayed in a hostel to finish my education.

I was privileged to finish my Lower/Higher/T.T.C and embroidery training in VTC which was started by missionaries from the U.K. I was blessed to work as a sewing teacher in VTC by Miss. Shirley Lister.At that time colleen Amma who was living in Chennai was a close friend of Miss.shirely.They used to meet often and share about their work for the Lord.

As there was a need for a teacher in CMCT,I was offered a place in CMCT.My parents were happy to send me to Chennai,though everything was new to me at that time.I committed myself to the Lord and said yes to her.Taking the long journy by train from Erode,I came to CMCT on january 11th 1984.I was so happy to meet colleen Amma.Her love and encouragement helped me to work as a sewing teacher for the past 40 years.I started my job in the car garage and shifted to many places until the year 2000,When the Lord blessed us with our own building for the ministries in CMCT.Now I have retired from CMCT with a grateful heart to the Lord,to Colleen Amma and to the management of CMCT.

In the year 1991, I was married to Mr.Anbalagan who is a fine believer. Amma came to the village where my marriage took place and blessed us.The Lord blessed us with 2 boys. My eldest son is Daniel who has completed his B.Sc graduate,and is now serving the Lord in Jesus Redeems as a sound engineer(Medical Department).My second son is Benjamin who has completed his B.E. Civil Engineer,but at present serving the Lord in Bihar North India as a Missionary.I praise God for blessing me through CMCT and for using my two sons to serve Him in various ways.

Colleen amma has helped me and my family in so many ways,so I thank Colleen amma for all that she has done for me.There are no words to express my gratitude to Colleen amma. Through the missionary service of Colleen amma, my family and have come to know the love of the Lord Jesus in our lives.

I thank Colleen Amma and the management of CMCT for all the love and support they have rendered to me and my family.
