There are two rural development projects – Vengampalli village in Chittoor district, and a village in Kodaikanal. The people of these villages have no employment.

In Vengampalli, in a building owned by CMCT, a branch of Haven of Hope Handicraft Centre has been established. It also houses a crèche. In Kodaikanal, a house has been rented for the purpose. We have also recently started a project at Kombai village. All the centres have leaders, who ensure the women meet daily and work.

A bag of food rations and a monthly stipend are provided.
